How are Social Networks Useful According to Sally Dasouki

Hi I am Sally Dasouki and I am here to talk about the hot topic of the month i.e. Social Network! Social networking is a way for one person to meet up with other people on the internet. That's not all, though. Social networking sites are today used for multiple purposes. People can find new friends, others find old friends, some find people who have the same problems or interests and many today have made social media a way of earnings too.

Let us learn about it in an elaborate way!

·         Worldwide connectivity- Weather you reside in any part of the country, you will be able to connect to people miles away from you in a faster and easier way. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Pinterest are probably the most well-known social networking communities that allow you worldwide connectivity. This can help you in various means like finding jobs, locating assistance, sharing political beliefs, accessing news in real time, receiving advices and much more.

·         Quick Awareness spreading- Statistics on this point is quite amazing! 78.5% of traditional media reporters polled used social media to check for breaking news. 59% of Twitter users and 31% of Facebook users polled followed breaking news on these sites. More than half of the population has online presence and thus making social media the quickest way of spreading awareness or news.

·         Reduces risk of health problem- Yes you read it right! Social media can help improve life satisfaction, stroke recovery, memory retention, and overall well-being by providing users with a large social group. Moreover, friends on social media can have a "contagion" effect, promoting and helping with exercise, dieting, and smoking cessation goals.

·         Benefits business of any size- Today, it has become crucial for any business to have online presence. This is not enough you need to build up the presence if you want the business to flourish quickly. Customers of big brands follow them on social media and it is through them they get to know a lot about special promotions, product information, technical support, and customer service as well.

Sally Dasouki has well researched on various social media websites and finally come up with the benefits that make social media worth a chance.

Sally Dasouki - Are You A Foodie? Time To Know How Food Defines Who You Are!

Out of the three basic necessity- Food, clothing and shelter, food takes the first spot which proves that it is the most important necessity of life. Abundance or lack of food decides the chance of our survival. But food is not just a biological need, it is culture! The way we eat, the way we engage in social activities while preparing food and the way we choose our meal define our personality as well as mood.

Sally Dasouki

The ingredients, methods of preparation, preservation techniques, and types of food eaten at different meals vary among cultures. The areas in which families live— and where their ancestors originated—influence food likes and dislikes. These food preferences result in patterns of food choices within a cultural or regional group. In western countries box of chocolates would be called as an appropriate gift but may not be as appropriate in other countries. Italy is famous for pizza and pasta yet people there eat varied food depending on the region they live in. In US “meat and potatoes” are eaten together but it may not be preferred to be on regular basis.

Regional food habits also exist which keeps on changing time to time as people immigrate, food practices and preference are imported and exported. People use their old recipes, add on twists of other countries and make innovative dishes. Moreover, what is considered edible or even a delicacy in some parts of the world might be considered inedible in other parts. Although food is often selected with some attention to physical need, the values or beliefs a society attaches to potential food items define what families within a cultural group will eat.

Food traditions vary widely throughout the world. Even among people who share similar cultural backgrounds and some of the same food habits, eating patterns are not identical. Further, families vary from their own daily routines on holidays, when traveling, or when guests are present. Men eat differently from women. People of different age groups eat differently. However, in most parts of the world, food is associated with hospitality and expression of friendship. Therefore, sensitivity to food rules and customs is important in building and strengthening cross-cultural relationships.

                                                         By Sally Dasouki Australia

Change is everyone’s desire therefore they try to do as many things possible to make life worthwhile. For this purpose it is very much necessary to push the limits of your comfort zone. If you are willing to do so life will be open handed waiting for grand surprises for you. The best to push your limits is to travel. So far as my opinion goes travelling can transform you completely, not only your outer personality but also in a way to think and act. Let us look into all the perks of travelling in a more detailed way.

·         You start looking into life differently- When you stay in one place for extended periods of time, you begin to take the simple things for granted. When you travel, you realize the things you deal with every day and seem easy are actually a blessing to you.

·         Meeting new people and making new friends- when you travel, it is quite obvious that you will meet whole new bunch of people with entirely different mindset than yours. This way you will come to know a perspective you never thought of. Few trips might also give your really close friends to cherish in your life.

·         Little things don’t bother you anymore-Instead of getting distracted and deterred by obstacles that appear in your path, you embrace them. Since your perspective has been changed, you aren't as likely to simply throw in the towel. Instead you're more reactive to change and willing to work out a course of action that will benefit you in the long run.

·         You develop a desire to explore- Once you are into travelling your curiosity reaches sky heights. You crave to learn new things and anything that is unknown to you attracts you towards itself. You understand that the world is big and you have just seen a minute part of it.

So, Sally Dasouki is here to advice you- pack your bags and get going to explore the unexplored, find the unfound and discover the undiscovered!
